Our founder
Dennis Craig Black, has been immersed in the world of fly fishing and tying since early childhood. Growing up on the banks of the North Umpqua River in Oregon gave Craig the freedom to develop his fly casting skills and inspired his lifelong passion for fly fishing. At a very young age he learned the art of tying flies from his father, Dennis J. Black, founder of Umpqua Feather Merchants.

Black's Flies is a wholesale distributor of hand-tied flies for the fly fishing industry. We do not retail to the general public but encourage them to visit their nearest retail dealer to obtain our excellent product. We have a large network of dealers carrying our products throughout not only Canada and the U.S.A, but also worldwide. Our primary objective continues to be offering customers exceptional service, premium quality products, and exciting new patterns. Our Distribution Facility
We have two distribution facilities, one located in British Columbia, Canada, and one located in Oregon, USA. We distribute worldwide from either of these two facilities.
